The god Hapi

The god Hapi... was the god of the Nile among the ancient Egyptians. The Nile is one of the symbols of Egypt and connects Upper and Lower Egypt. Therefore, the mural in the Luxor Temple depicted “Hapi” holding the rope connecting the Upper and Lower Egypt. The god “Hapi” was a symbol of the unity of the state at that time.
